Seeing the LA Philharmonic at Disney Hall is an extraordinary experience. Gustavo Dudamel's energy and dedication have raised the orchestra to new heights. Thursday's program included a violin comcert written for the soloist, followed by an exuberant performance of Mahler's first.

We had a fabulous experience watching the LA Philharmonic, conducted by Mehta, perform Mahler 3 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. These talented musicians will blow you away! The sculptural landmark has lovely acoustics and just the right amount of seating. We are blessed to live within walking distance. My husband and I are thrilled to have finally come to the symphony. We plan to be back soon. We definitely need more of our younger generations to support the arts.

Gustavo Dudamel - Mahler. This was breathtaking. He had no scores for the 80 plus minute performance. 5 pieces of Mahler were selected and played. Each piece having their own story to tell. It's worth the buildup and excitement as this show feeds the soul. If you have family that enjoys music, this makes a beautiful gift.
